General Election Outreach Campaign Underway

We have launched our extensive outreach campaign for the November 2020 election. This campaign focuses on options for voting under COVID-19 and includes extensive outdoor, transit, social media, streaming radio, print ads, and digital platforms in all of our supported languages.

We’ve prepared a suite of signage for all Vote Centers, like the “Happy Voting” arrow shown in this photo. This floor graphic will show voters the path of travel to take, which will assist us to ensure physical distancing for COVID-19

Official Mail Ballot Insert We will be including a glossy insert with every ballot packet that will be mailed to all of our 1.6+ million voters. This piece will include information on the conveniences of voting at home and will explain options for returning the official ballot.


Overflow Parking for Orange County Voters We are finalizing the installation of a new 600 stall parking lot, which will be located behind our main office in Santa Ana. This parking will provide much-needed overflow parking for voters visiting our office, plus all of our employees and those visiting our facilities for training, tours, etc.


COVID-19 In-Person Voting Safety We have an extensive plan for minimizing risk of exposure to COVID-19 for our voters and staff in each Vote Center. Our full plans can be found in our COVID-19 Election Response Report - just one of many items includes these floor notices for keeping voters physically distanced.


OC Libraries Voting Partnership We are grateful to OC Libraries for promoting voting here in Orange County. OC Libraries has established a voting website, explaining many important items related to the voting process (including how to participate as a Vote Center employee, plus fun info for young future voters).
