Vote Center Workshops Continue
Today we held our 19th Vote Center workshop in the City of Newport Beach. Attendance at these public meetings remains strong and we have received valuable input from the community. The workshops will continue through the month of July.

Direct Mail Campaign to Voters
Beginning in the late fall and in January and February we will be communicating Vote Center changes to voters through a direct mail campaign. This extensive outreach effort will include individual mailings to all of our voters, each one describing changes that will be coming in 2020. |

Recycling Old Election Equipment
As we prepare to bring on new voting equipment for our Vote Centers we are planning for the destruction of our current system. This requires a detailed plan in order to comply with federal and state regulations for the safe recycling of voting systems. We will be disposing of nearly 11,000 pieces of equipment. |

Ballot Drop Box Deliveries Begin Next Week
We will be receiving our first delivery of ballot drop boxes from our manufacturer next week. These boxes will be arriving at our facility as metal shells and we will complete the finishing work on-site. Deliveries will continue through August and we will begin installations in the fall. |
