Amended Election Administration Plan Posted

We have made amendments to our Election Administration Plan (EAP), which is the overall plan for vote center implementation in Orange County. This plan has been posted for public review and we are accepting public comments through September 20, 2019. The draft plan can be accessed on our website at ocvote.com/votecenter.

Communication Plan Continues to Expand This week we continued to develop our Vote Center Communication Plan, which includes still photography to match our video production. This campaign will include direct mail to voters, digital applications, vote center signage, and more.


Window Graphics for Vote Centers As a part of our vote center communications, we are creating a comprehensive signage program that will be utilized in every vote center. These signs will inform voters about the vote centers on the interior and exterior of the locations (as shown in the draft window graphics).


Draft Vote Center Locations Our teams continue to evaluate potential vote center locations - we have posted a draft map of sites that we have been evaluating. It's important to point out that these sites are in early draft modes, which mean many of them may not be suitable locations once a full evaluation takes place.


Weekend Outreach Events Our Community Engagement Team will be at several events this weekend in Orange County (to discuss the upcoming vote center changes with voters) including the Walk for Independence and Health Fair in Costa Mesa, the Emergency and Prevention Workshop in Santa Ana and the Mid Autumn Children's Festival in Garden Grove.
