Our final Election Administration Plan (EAP), which is the official road map for our implementation of vote centers here in Orange County, has been submitted to the Secretary of State for final review and approval. The plan, (101 pages total), outlines all of the details we will execute as a prepare for the March 2020 Primary Election.

Strong Turnout for Media Preview of New Voting System

This past week we hosted a media preview of our new voting system, which we will deploy for the March 2020 Primary Election. Numerous media outlets were onsite as we demonstrated the features of the voting system, which will be used in 188 vote centers throughout Orange County.

New Voting System Equipment Now Arriving

Our new voting system, the Hart Verity system, started arriving in our warehouse this past week. We have begun the process of acceptance and on-boarding testing. The delivery of our new equipment will take approximately 90 days to complete.

We are in the planning stages for hosting a minimum of 20 large public demonstrations of our new voting system throughout Orange County. These events will be positioned to target large amounts of people to ensure as many voters as possible will be able to interact with the new system.

This weekend we will be throughout Orange County hosting informational booths on our upcoming transition to vote centers - these will include the Asian American Senior Citizens Service Center Moon Festival Celebration in Santa Ana on Saturday, the rvine Evergreen Chinese Senior Association Monthly Meeting and the American Taiwanese Facebook Group Annual BBQ Get-Together in Fullerton.
