How to Verify Your Voter Registration
Not sure if your voter registration is up to date?
Have you moved since the last election and want to make sure your ballot for the November 4, 2025, Statewide Special Election arrives in the mail? Double check online today at ocvote.gov/verify.
Has your signature changed? Did you register to vote online so your registration record only contains the electronic signature you provided to the DMV? Pick up a paper voter registration affidavit from the Registrar of Voters, a post office, a library, city and county offices, and California DMV offices; then complete, sign the form, and mail it to P.O. Box 11298, Santa Ana, CA 92711-1298.
The Voter Registration deadline for the 2025 Statewide Special Election is Monday, October 20.
If you re-register to update your address after September 9, you will have to ask the Registrar of Voters to send you a replacement ballot to your new address. We will run the voter address file on September 10 for the mailing of ballots to all registered voters. And the USPS cannot forward your ballot to your new address. To request a replacement ballot, visit ocvote.gov/replacement.
We answer all your voter registration questions at ocvote.gov/faqs/registration-faqs. |

High School Voter Education Weeks
High School Voter Education Weeks start September 15 and continue through September 26.
The goal is to bring civic engagement awareness to our young and future voters. Eligible students ages 16 and 17 can pre-register to vote. When students pre-register to vote, they will automatically become registered voters at 18 years old.
Pre-registred students who will turn 18 by November 4, 2025, will be mailed a 2025 Statewide Special Election Ballot.
Community outreach members from the Orange County Registrar of Voters team are available to partner with local high schools to promote civic education, voter registration, and the importance of ensuring a current signature is in your registration file. We’re also available to speak at local colleges and universities, community groups, non-profit organizations, and other local organizations.
You can submit a speaker request through our website at ocvote.gov/community.
As high school events are confirmed, they will be posted on the Community Engagement Events Calendar on this Community page of our website. |
