Garden Grove Vote Center Opens Tomorrow, Ready to Serve Voters

SANTA ANA, Calif. – May 25, 2026 – Orange County Registrar of Voters will be ready to serve voters tomorrow at a Vote Center located at Garden Grove Sports and Recreation Center, 13641 Deodara Dr., Garden Grove.

The opening of the Vote Center was postponed when the city building was temporarily needed as a care facility for community members displaced by the Garden Grove hazardous materials incident.

On Tuesday, May 26, the Garden Grove Sports and Recreation Vote Center will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. From Wednesday, May 27, through Monday, June 1, the center will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Tuesday, June 2, the center will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

At this Vote Center and any of the other 38 Vote Centers that are now open in Orange County, eligible residents can:

•    Receive, mark and scan an in-person ballot
•    Receive a replacement Vote-By-Mail ballot to mark later
•    Register to vote

Any evacuated voter who does not have their ballot may request a replacement ballot at any Vote Center.

The following Ballot Drop Boxes located within the evacuation area remain unavailable until further notice:

•    Stanton Branch Library, 7850 Katella Ave., Stanton
•    Korean Martyrs Catholic Center, 7655 Trask Ave., Westminster
•    Chapman Sports Park, 11700 Knott Ave., Garden Grove

Voters may place their voted Vote-By-Mail ballot into any of the other 125 available Ballot Drop Boxes throughout the county or may cast their ballot by mail. Ballots must be postmarked no later than June 2 to be eligible to be counted.
