Remote conditional voter registration allows certain voters who are not registered by the 15-day deadline before an election to complete a registration and provisional ballot remotely beginning 14 days before the election.
Even if you missed the regular voter-registration deadline at 11:59 p.m. 15 days before Election Day, you can still conditionally register to vote and cast a ballot during the 14 days prior to an election and on Election Day.
Conditional Voter Registration (CVR), also known as same-day registration and voting, is available to eligible voters in California pursuant to Election Codes 2170 through 2173.

In 2016, we want to make sure no one is left out - on September 27, 2016, volunteers, celebrities, and organizations from all over the country will "hit the streets" for National Voter Registration Day.
